Earthquake and tsunami in Japan

Post by Katron » Sun Mar 13, 2011 7:44 pm

I cannot believe no one has mentioned anything about the crazy happenings in Japan lately. The death toll is estimated at 10,000 or something crazy like that. This catastrophe is going to have a global impact due to Japan's heavy influence in almost any industry. Your thoughts?

If an earthquake opens up underneath you how deep into the Earth will you fall? I've heard it's rare for an earthquake to open underneath you but how deep would you fall if it does happen?

Getting to the post, it was catastrophic but it seems they are just doing fine. I think its puzzling to us how can they endure such thing with calm, respect and hard work but they did.
