Dear Abby letter...for fisherman
Dear Abby letter...for fisherman
Hilarious joke someone sent me today...
------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Abby
I have been so blessed in my life. Great parents, great wife and kids, great job, and great education.
When I finally retired, I could hardly wait to spend time enjoying my favorite pastime -- bass fishing. I got my own little fishing boat and tried to get my wife to join me, but she just never liked fishing. Finally, one day at the Bait &Tackle Shop, I got to talking to Sam the shop owner who it turned out loves bass fishing as much as I do. We quickly became fishing buddies. As I said the wife doesn't care about fishing; she not only refuses to join us she always complains that I spend too much time fishing.
A few weeks ago Sam and I had the best fishing trip ever. Not only did I catch the most beautiful bass you've ever seen, only a few minutes later Sam must have caught his twin brother! So I took a picture of Sam holding up the two nice bass that we caught and showed the picture to the wife hoping that maybe she'd get interested. Instead she says she doesn't want me to go fishing at all anymore! And she wants me to sell the boat! I think she just doesn't like to see me enjoying myself.
What would you do? Tell the wife to forget it and continue my hobby or quit fishing and sell the boat as she insists?
Thanks,
A fisherman
PS I here is a link to a picture of Sam showing off one of the bass we caught.

I suppose y'all haven't see the original pic of the "Sam" being referred to as holding up the two bass. This pic is not the original or one of the variations (it's an entirely different lady -- blonde to boot). The original *ahem* leaves absolutely nothing to the imagination though versions of that pic are Photoshopped to add a two-string bikini. Let's just say that if you see the original pic, you'll say to yourself, "Huh? She was holding up two bass in the picture? You don't say!".
Re: Dear Abby letter...for fisherman
I know exactly what you're talking about Chavez, I've seen it used in a few fishing cartoons. Supposedly she's got two 8 pounders in that picture... but according to my count there were 4. Heh heh heh.

Damn Z. that one fooled me. HAHAHAH.. SAM is such a universal name......
Re: Dear Abby letter...for fisherman
Yeah I wish I could post the picture on here or link to it, but it's clearly inappropriate. I'm gonna try and find it, I remember seeing it on somebody's random homemade fishing page somewhere.

Z,
I think I've seen your pic on a page dedicated to carp fishing, but I'm not about to post a link. Hehe.... If you're interested in carp fishing, not a bad page. 'From what I recall,' you would have had to click on a "Women and Carp" link, and I know I would have never clicked on that intentionally...
--Casey
P.S. For you really sick puppies out there, try Google'ing "world record monster carp fishing", it'll hit in the top 5.
