TOP 25 T3

Post by kbookert » Sat Jul 10, 2004 7:58 am

I took a look at the top 25 forum addicts. Reno, when you said that we went over 1000 members, you failed to mention that you went over 1000 posts. You must have welcomed every member!

Come on guys, get a life. Oh crap, I'm on there too. Nevermind.

Just another note. Looks like T3 started on 4 April of 2003. Besides the Zander and JIP, the oldest active member is bitesize (20 April 2003).

The top 25:

Wow I thought i was a lot higher on the list last time I checked. I guess I haven't been able to post as much over the last few months. Not to mention I haven't had too many opportunities to fish. I think I'm gonna go fishing now after I catch up on the last few days of posts.

It's not the ammount of posts but the quality that counts. They (T3) do not have a heading for articles (Threads) started. I always tyr to do a search and add to a thread if I can find the same topic. Guys like JR and my bud SD like to make a comment on every post. but, that's their thing. That's not always a bad thing, but I like to make sure I look at every topic or post even if it is not an area that I have a real interest in. It's a little boring to open a new post and see a comment like "that's cool" (my computer is not that fast). However, that is part of a site like this. I have done it myself.

Anyway, I am hitting the lake tomorrow morning. I have to give those new Shad Sticks a work out.

JR, you are one we can count on to get a conversation going.

KBT,

While I do comment on a lot of posts, I also try to make sure most of my posts add value or respond to questions that are being asked. Of course, seeing as how I practically live here these days, it's difficult not to get into conversation mode :)

One thing is for certain, this site is a fantastic resource...

AND

I just HAD to respond to your thread...

lol

I found this site while trying to find information on a spinning reel I was interested in purchasing.  Just like a stray cat, I guess I'll stay until they stop feeding me. :)

awwww man! did I miss the line to the buffet table again?!!?!

btw... in case you guys didn't catch it in a previous thread, Reno is largely responsible for my being here  prior to our chatting, I was hanging out mostly on the Kistler discussion forum.... I actually joined this site a fwe days prior to chatting with Reno over on the Kistler forum, but I had troubles with my registration. JIP straightened me out, but I forgot to check back until Reno mentioned to me there were addicts just like me over here. How cool was that? 8)

Let's not forget sdesign's batting average. In the timespan of less than a month, he has posted over 534 times, averaging over 21 posts per day! He is my top pick in the fantasy TackleTour forum league.

yah... thanks for reinforcing the fact that, as of now, I don't have much of a life outside of the T3 forum Reno... not that this is a problem of any kind 8)

I'd like to state that the frenzy was started due to the "Newbie Angler" tag I saw under my name when I started to post. I wanted to get rid of that designation as soon as possible!

I was out of action for quite a while when my computer imploded.  I had to resort to going to the public library for a few weeks just to keep in touch.  Now that I've got my new machine and a cable connection, I can get back into the game.

I came in when I saw there were special offers for registered members and for the giveaway of free stuff. My moto has been "If it's free it's me".

I got so much more out of coming to the forum. My wife likes it too, now she doesn't have to hear about fishing as much.
