Re: THE Crocodile Man, Steve Irwin, is dead
It's truly terrible, Steve had a "heart of Gold". He wasnt driven by money, just his love for animals, and he made people take notice of the environment, the things that mattered to him. Steve gave heaps of oney to charities, and to lose this Australian Hero is a real tradgedy. The irony comes in the fact he was filming for a "Oceans greatest Killers" documentary.

It's so sad. I think there is a world wide sense of loss for this wonderful man. He was Lizzy's (my 9 year old) favorite...she would not miss an episode of the Crocodile Hunter. To this day, she wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up. I haven't had the heart to tell her about Steve yet...

He was a great ambassador for saving wildlife and teaching everyone about the animals of the world.
