I was goin through cabelas bargain cave and found cabelas old Txs rod on sale for 80 bucks, then noticed that the same rod was at 60 bucks. HEre are the links so you can see for your self. May be i am missing a detail.

I got the newer txs spinning rod and i am very happy with it. How is the older one.

Other than one little word, I didn't see any difference except under the BASS rods, one rod that is offered that is sold out under the regular $60 listings. That rod is heavier though as it is rated for up to 1 1/2 oz. lures...

The TXS XII is for the angler who likes Carolina or Slug-Go type fishing. the 7' rod is rated for up to 1-1/2 oz. lures.

I think they are the same rods except one is advertised with bass and the other is not, i just read everything and they do the same jobs and have the same materials.
