Been reading for some time of anglers using the shrink tubing... where is it available and if sized, what size?

I just buy it at Ace hardware. I bring my worms with me to match diameters. Yes, I get strange looks

i've used shrink tubing for years but will probably switch to o-rings here soon. the issues i have with the shrink tubing is that it stretches out after catching a few fish. i carry a lighter in my bag so i can re-shrink the tubing.

You can get several feet aof shrink tubine onEBAY cheap, You want the stuff with a 3:1 ratio, I use 1/4 and 3/8. I use a lighter to lightly shrink the tubing and activate the adhesive inside. Many youtube videos on this.

two other methods I use.

Z-Man zinkerz worms, the elaztech plastic is good for dozens of fish, at least

Big Bite worms with the molded in O ring.

You'll save a lot of worms by using the O-rings.
