Delta & Clear Lake Ca

I'm planning a fishing week with my son (16) in the spring. A couple of days on the Delta & a few more on Clear Lake (we're flexible). Can anyone provide tips, such as places to to stay, marinas, areas to fish & best lures? I've never fished either, I've been doing some reading but thought some out there might have some great tips.
