Abu C4 or Shimano Cardiff?

I am looking to get a new reel for my river pole to catch some catfish. What reel do you think is a better buy?

Abu but the C3. Slower gear ratio is all the better for bait fishing. Besides you will want a bait clicker unless you use solely circle hooks.

Why the C3 and not the C4?

Because a slower gear ratio is better for cranking in heavier weights and bigger fish. The C3 can be had with a bait clicker, the C4 cant.

Either a C3 or C4 but personally I prefer the C3 to the C4. I don't care for the middle thumbar of the C4 compared to the side version of the C3. The 6600 C4's do come with clickers just like the C3's.
