Nice forum setup guys. i've enjoyed your tackle reviews over the last couple months and even purchased a number of reels based on your reviews.

2 suggestions to make your site better: 1. on the left side of your homepage, you have a best reviews section and it seems at first that it is the best reviews in order of rating (which they are not since i checked...i think then the recently recalled Quantum CAtalyst with over a 9 rating would've been on it). I think you mean to say that it is the reviews with the most hits. Anyways, it should be more clear.

2. On the right side you have the new forum heading with the pic of a blonde. At first glance, i thought it was a small popup for a porn or dating site and ignored it. It was only later when i looked at it more closely that i read something about forums. Although i like pics as much as the next guy, i think it would be better (more professional) to replace the girl pic with simply a large label saying FORUMS.

1) Good point on the top hit counter. We will make that a little more straitforward. The counter resets once a week.

2) Also a good point on the portal banner...but it got you looking right?

Hi Zander,

I would also like to suggest a section about manufacturer's recalls ie. the recent Quantum Catalyst PTi recall ab the anti-reverse. Overall this information is hard to find and the manufacturers don't seem to be honest in listing their recalls.

Great site. It seems that Quantum has taken a notice to the site as well. The reviews are very well thought out and informative. Great jobs all around.

I'd like to see more line tests. I'm finding it very difficult to decide what line is the best. There's some many claims and very few trustworthy fact on the net. An example is the Stren Magnaflex. Stren says their line is stronger the berkley's line. Then Berkley comes out with an articles stating the opposite. Then you get Japanese lines. I'd like to see someone post a table with all line makers, pounds, breaking weight diameters, stretch, sensitivity, etc.

It's funny... Anytime there's a new product that competes with one of Pure Fishing's, they always publish something right after it saying how their stuff is better. Makes me go everytime.
