Ive never been a color person...I can't imagine a bass sitting there wondering...is that black with green flake or red flake?
Its the slow fall of a senko that makes it so deadly. I like the 5 inch cause you can toss them so far. Back to color, as long as its not too silly, or sticks out too much...natural colors are best. Really like Yamamoto, not the copies. They are often heavier and cast better.

So to summarize........

Pick up the GYCB catalogue, open on senko colours page, close your eyes and fish whichever colour your finger lands on.

I always used watermelon with black flake in light green to clear water conditions and green pumpkin black flake in dirty water conditions. I've caught so many fish on these 2 colors and have so much confidence in them that I never felt compelled to put any significant time in with other colors but I've used a handful of other random colors I got in closeout sales that worked fine and have had decent results with white ones while sight fishing and in saltwater. If I could only use 1 color, I'd go with green pumpkin black flake.
