Watermelon or green pumpkin are both good colors in green water. If the lake is not very pressured then white or black can be good also.

Try throwing some white plastics in with some chartreuse plastics for a day or two. This will give the white a slight greenish tint to make it stand out better. Thats a pretty old school trick I learned that always seems to work :)

Color number 222.

It is a green with red and blue flakes in it. I call it Christmas tree.

one lake i fish is a healthy green with maybe 6"/8" vis...luminous chartruese has been very good to me.

it also works in clear.

don't know that there is a bad color senko...the basic greens and black/blues work anywhere..as well as the brighter versions (pearl) at certain times of the year.

as with any other bait, get a few basic colors that match your hatch.

imo, color can be important at different times of the year but, not as important as where you put that color.

Cotton Candy
Watermellon Candy
Watermellon/Green Pumpkin Seed

I dont know if GYCB makes version of the first two mentioned but if they do those two colors are absolutely killer. Try YUM, I like em even better then GYCB Senkos when it comes to plastic worms. PCBaits.com makes them exactly how you like with you having the ability to say how much softner you want.

913 which is 301 Green pumpkin w/green & purple and a chartruese tail, but it has to be the old core shot style where the chartruese runs all the way through the body, not the new two-tone.

Short of that, plain 301 ain't bad, or 330 with copper flecks instead of purple.

My favorite Senko color is purple with emerald flake (June Bug). No matter what colors I try this one always seems to be the most productive.

dark blue works good when the sun is just about to set. I use Junebug Yum Dingers. I'm sure a senko with similar color would work just fine.

What color do you usually throw with success? That should work here also. Confidence is 1st and foremost then comes presentation, then color. People above gave many good suggestions. Green Pumpkin or Watermelon are pretty much standards anywhere in the country. Junebug is another good color for stained water.
