Try using something totally out of the ordinary. I've been expeirmenting this year. I make my own senkos and have been making alot of tri and quad colors. I have one thats a perch pattern thats been working deadly this season. I use white senkos with plastic dyes. Instead of buying alot of senkos that will not get used, make your own with a large bag of white ones and some dyes such as spike it dyes.

Get your kids hooked on fishing, and they'll never have any money for drugs or alcohol.

I might have to try this. I have two bags of white that have been sitting around for about a year now.

To the original post, my hot colors have been watermellon with red flakes and smoke with black and blue.

Between fishing in San Diego, central Illinois, and now southern Maryland, Baby Bass has been the color that produces the best for me. That and natural shad, Ive caught a lot of bass in ponds and lakes that didnt even have shad in it.

BAMA BUG is the color that works in my green tinted lake. Its a "limited edition" but seems to be at DSG often grabbed 9 packs when they were 20% off.

Senkos have to be seen to be eaten. I find that they are not always the best choice in low visibility situations. I'd go for a different bait that makes some noise.

Lots of good suggestions, if I had to pick one color it would be black. Pick up a few colors and try them out.

Good luck.

Rattle insert + Laminate/bright colors. [-X

The best color that I've come across is Green Pumpkin/Black Flake.

I'd either go the natural route with watermelon or green pumpkin or try going for visibility with smoke/silver flake or black/blue. I havent had much success with Senkos on Moses Lake here in WA where the water is pea soup colored and vis is 6-8" as well. I prefer to use jigs or cranks.
