Rod guide repair?

Post by bitesize » Thu May 15, 2003 12:18 pm

Uh oh! I really messed up one of my guides on my rod.
Somehow one of the guides almost broke off where it
is wrapped. The epoxy cracked and stuff.
How can I repair this?

thanks

hi bitesize,

i get all my rod repair questions answered here: http://www.rodbuilding.org/list.php?f=2

They are very helpful and many of them own rod building shops.

Good luck.

Raptor Rod Works in Chico CA will fix any broken guides, tips, or even reel seats. I have had them fixed many rods busted on fish, car doors, slammed in tailgates and they have taken damage that made me cringe and made it look like new.

They also guarantee the brake for the lifetime of the rod. If thier repair brakes in the future they will fix again for free. Many anglers send them broken rods for repair via UPS and they are pretty good about getting it back in a timely manner.

for a pic check out this reveiw that has a little something written about Raptor Rod Works, Owner Jim Clarkson

Let me know your thoughts,
