Fishing Report
4/6 Tuesday,
4/7 Wednesday,
4/8 Thursday,

2 limits on tuesday - 4 miles from moss landing, straight out
2 limits on wednesday - 5 miles from moss landing, straight out
3 limits on thursday - 14 miles from moss landing, near point pinos

Big fish went to 25 pounds.
tuesday/wednesday trolled from 140 feet up to 30 feet
thursday trolled from 90 feet to 30 feet.

You know it's a big fish when you have to use a giant cleaver to cut the steaks!

I wish I could have been there for the opener. I heard that there is quite a party there in Moss Landing the night(s) before the opener. How many boats would you say showed up?[/font]

I would say maybe 500 or more. A real mad house at the docks.
There is 3 harbors that surrounds monterey.
Santa Cruz, Moss Landing and Monterey.

Party started with the fishinfo club and also with the bay sportsmen club.
Kinda grew from there and people from coastside club starting to come to the party.

I have a rather large family. Fish is all gone already :(
Need to go back out there again on saturday to get more :P

it is hectic. Thats why we launch and run early in the morning before the sun gets up.
