Sturgeon report

Post by Jinz000 » Thu Mar 25, 2004 10:08 am

We were sturgeon fishing in antoch, along the highway in the afternoon. It was Biggest bite we ever got during night fall. Felt that it was a sturgeon. If our beefstick wasn't a pure fiberglas rod, it would of broken. Fought it for a while, and we lost it. We spent a few more hours there got a few more bites, small bites though. 0 Fish landed that day.

The next day same exact area during the morning hours. Got some decent bites(not sure if its sturgeon) but still 0 fish landed . Maybe its because of our switch to circle hooks... I don't know.

The feeling you get when fighting a monster fish is like being in a traffic accident. You are instantly alert and shaking with from the adrenalin rush.
