Keith,

What bodies of water will you fish this year in the north East Division? Did you join with a boater or alone?

The only one I have fished is Cayuga, and I only started fishing it last year, but I have some very successful trips. I was considering joining that tournament as a non-boater, since you can fsih individual events. I hear it's tough to get in though if you don't preregister with a boater. Do you know when registration end for individual events?

If I don't end up fishing it, I can certainly set you up with some productive spots and advice. I believe they are launching from the marina o Lower Lake Road at the North end, and that is exactly where I fish. It depends on the season that it is held as well. That is a long lake and in the summer those bass can travel far south since the north end is so shallow.

I caught plenty of 3-4 pounder large mouth all spring and early sumemr last year. The only smallies I caught were in the far southern end in the stream and just at the mouth of the streams when they were in a pre spawn pattern.

Anyway, good luck in the division, and I'll be sure to give you some good spots when the tournament nears.
