Magnum Shakey Head Fishing

Post by Rodster14 » Sun Aug 05, 2018 1:43 am

I have gotten into off shore fishing this summer (mainly deep diving crankbaits). I want to try fishing bigger worms on heavier shakey heads. I am getting ready to order some 9 inch T-Macs and 1/2 stand up jigs for starters. Anyone had success/advice with this technique?

It works for vertical presentation but If I’m
Fishing deep plastics I’m Carolina rigging it .

They work really well except in wood.

I was using the heads made by X-cite and the Yum Pumpkin head. Now I like the one made by 6Th Sense better...It has a 7/0 hook.

This time of year I usually fish brushpiles and I like to T-Rig worms then. A lot of times it's all about keeping the worm in the brush.
