The original formula doesn't have much (if any) odor at all and that is the way it is designed, according to what Bobby has posted on BR. The attractant is more of a flavor for the fish to make them hold on, rather than get them to smell it.
I own both the original and crawfish one. The crawfish version has a little bit stronger smell, but it's not overpowering like some scents are.
Shouldn't Megastrike have an odor to it?

I bought the worm and crawfish two years ago, and I noticed that the tubes were identical. Could not tell which was which.
I called the company,
and they advised me to smell the stuff to distinguish which was which.
That's not a very good way to do business.
