16# super natural for walkers and anything I work with the rod
15# j-braid for poppers and anything finesse
40# j-braid for props and wakers and anything that gets a straight retrieve

12lb Sunline Super Natural seems to be the perfect strength. You want the give of mono in your Topwaters trust me, stay away from braid, etc

I use the Sunline Armilo 15lb for topwater and jerkbaits, works great and have no issues so far.

14 lb mono in clear water. 30lb braid in stained water or around vegetation.

15# trilene XL is money for topwater. That said I am going to try #15 sunline defier armillo just because.
