What to throw

I am in NYC area,,and I would like to target a few ponds and lakes.. I don`t know what the best baits are to throw when the water temps are around 50 degrees like now. I would like some suggestions.. would like to know every bait that can work at this time of year.

Anything you can fish slow. I got two bass last Saturday on a spoon fishing the trout opener in a snow storm.

Just google "Prespawn bass fishing" and you'll get a wealth of information. I've been reading up a lot on it too here recently.

Spinnerbaits, square bill crankbaits, and lipless crankbaits are all good.
