Hey all,
I've been wondering is there any good resource or if someone can shed some light onto these mysterious CA Delta waters? I have only fished lakes & reservoirs, so trying such a huge body of water with tides sounds like a daunting task.
I know heading through fall & into winter may not be the best time to try and tackle any new waters, but I have always had the itch to start fishing here and the itch is turning into a scratch!
Are these waters similar to lakes regarding seasons? What conditions would one look for if fishing for Largemouth Bass during this time? What areas, techniques, baits & colors are a favorite? How much does the tide affect fishing?
Many thanks in advance!
Any resource or tips for a CA DELTA Newbie?

Fish Sniffer...and talk to the local tackle shops.
Good luck!

Westernbass.com usually has a lot of info on the Delta. Bobby Barrack's guide website usually has fish reports and useful stuff also.
