I agree with this also... finesse doesnt always mean downsize.... i think one can also finesse fish with big baits as well... to me the speed of whatever bait you are using has more to do with finesse fishing....

I never looked at it like that but it makes plenty of sense. Should have read this earlier, would have saved more money.
My only argument would be line size, but from what your saying even 20# test can be finessed if I am fishing it at a slower pace or soaking the bait per say. So yeah it does make more sense, but the dollars were already spent.

What did you spend your dollars on?

Don't get me wrong I dropshot a ton too. But, yes 20lb test can be used finesse fishing...think slowly worming a crank in nasty cover. Places you would think twice about pitching a jig. Then later you could use that same 20lb burning the same square bill and banging into stumps. Slow deliberate presentation = finesse, fast aggressive = power fishing.
