Calling all New York guys!

Post by 11kalnmitc » Mon Apr 28, 2014 12:38 pm

I'll have been lucky enough to score an internship this summer, I'll be spending 2 weeks in Cortland, New York and 8 weeks Freedom, New York. Any one in these areas, I'd love to get an idea of some spots to hit up while I'm there. I don't have a boat so I will be shore fishing and would prefer some clues to some good smallie fishing. Any recommendations would be awesome since I'm not even really sure where to start in these areas. Anyone who would be kind enough to give me some pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. :D

Cortland area you have the Susquehana River just to the south of you that has some good spots around the city of Binghampton. I used to live there but been gone for 20 years. Try this site too, might get some local guys to answer you.
