Is there any other species?

I go for ultra light bass sometimes, it is nice though, you can cast a unwieghted tube or worm a mile. With no wieght, it barely goes down, and stays where you want it too alot longer. last year i caught a 4 pound 8 ounce brook trout on a mepps #1 gold on 6 pound magnathin, what a fight, it was practically as soon as i started reeling, what a fight, and it was released to fight another day

When you go ultralight, do you rig it weedless or no?
Because it would break if you employed a hard hook set!

I do fish weedless sometimes, better not let flippin pigs hear this. I have found that with ultra light tackle, using a quality hook helps a lot. To set the hook, i reel up on him and just crank really hard, with a sweep of the rod, it seems to work pretty well, but it is all a matter of feel. You first have to under stand which way the fish is goin with the worm before you set the hook, i dont loose that many to hooks popping out.
