I just slayed em with a ..

Post what you used and how you slayed em .. here.

.. Bomber Citrus Shad (Medium Diver) on my favorite lake. Not much happened before noon but caught 6 from noon to 3. Used my TDZ and the 7 ft Shiryu which added to the experience .. I love summer crankin'. Caught 4 on a high ridge, mid lake which comes up to 6 feet and on deep sloping banks in a couple random spots. Big one was 4 lbs ..

Water temp was 85ish .. semi-muddy.

I've been slayin' em on a Jackall Mudsucker 110. Walking it, varying speed, adding pauses every now and then. Bass seem to hit it when its paused after a few quick pops. I'm throwing it on a Curado E50 with 30lb powerpro the rod is a Compre 7ft med fast action rod. I love this set up for throwing walking treble baits. Caught probably 20 fish over the weekend on this.

Well, I actually lost my foxy (sexy) shad color and the water was semi muddy so I went with ..

The "Citruse" FatFree shad according to this chart.

Nice bass!
From Ohio?

Had a great day last week, over a dozen in a couple hours, throwing an KVD1.5 in sexy shad.
This big ol girl crushed that bait at the edge of a deep weedline.
Spawned out, saggy belly and missing half of her tail..
But she was beautiful regardless. :big grin:

Thanks! Yup! What part of PA are you from?

That bass was looking for some bream to fatten up after spawning. :big grin:

Southwest, just south of Pittsburgh.

Indeed she was.. Wish I would've got to her a few weeks earlier when she was still full of eggs.
Judging by her flabby belly, she'd have looked like a football! :big grin:

this weekend went down to the river with a friend and happened on a mayfly hatch to say the least the smallmouth's were gorging themselves, almost every one we caught regurgitated 15 - 30 of them during the fight. i ended up with 7 and 3 keepers and my friend ended up with 13 and 3 keepers. our 6 fish limit would have went right around 8 pounds not to bad for the rivers. we just pitched our wacky rigged GP senkos to the pillars and sea walls the mayfly were hanging on, the bass were just sitting underneath waiting for them to fall off :big grin: first real good day in a while.

Last week, hit a couple ponds at night with a buddy. I caught 10 bass on the Moreau Swimming Bluegill swimbait in two hours or so. Was a fun night. Actually got 6 blow ups in 6 straight casts; and caught 4 bass. Good times!

A few days earlier, at a lake, caught 15 bass; up to 6 pounds. The bigger fish were caught flippin' creature baits and on topwater.
What my name is?
