Hey, the best offense is a good defense, right? I don't have to catch anybody, just hold a few guys off that are close. But I may or may not have the couple "favorites" for this one...you'll find out in a few days

OK guys, rosters just locked for the last time, here's my 5 for this one:

With the bite being so tough, I went heavy with locals hoping they have more spots to fish than the non-locals. Then I couldn't bet against KVD. We'll see how it works out...weigh-in is at 2:00CST...

I didn't know you guys did a fantasy deal over here too. That's cool. I'll have to get in on it next year.

I run one on another website.

We pay five bucks a tourney through paypal and there is a $20 per angler pot for FAOY.

I've got FAOY wrapped up.

What percentage are you guys sitting at?

As of yesterday I was at 86, I was hoping to finish the year over 90 but with the performance my guys (Skeet, Scroggins, Lane, Kennedy, Remitz) put up today, don't know if that will happen.

Either way, I just pocketed some cash. We did the plastics thing last year and it was a nightmare. We could never get everyone to send their plastics. So this year, I did straight cash through PayPal. Worked much better.

Did you guys know that FLW claims their Fantasy will have payouts next year that are similar to the angler payouts?

Last month, at the registration meeting for the Detroit River FLW Tour, FLW Outdoors president and CEO Charlie Evans told the field that the company will expand its Fantasy Fishing Program in 2008. It appears that the winning Fantasy payouts will closely mirror the winning pro payouts for the FLW Tour. Nope, that' not a typo. FLW Outdoors will reportedly award $100,000 to the Fantasy winner for each Tour stop (perhaps more for Opens), and potentially $1 million at the 2008 Forrest Wood Cup. An FLW Outdoors official did confirm that Evans announced the Fantasy expansion, and that a full announcement is expected in October, but declined to elaborate further."
