You sure can catch the big ones. Are these all from the same lake/pond? What's your biggest bass Dan?

Now those are some nice bass LR. Forgive my ignorance, but what is the lure you call "sammy"? It may be a stupid question, but to me it just looks like a rapala skitter walk or the like.

take it easy

Geez Dan, Seems to me you keep catching the big ones? What is your secret? Do you fish the same waters or move around near your area?

Thank's y'all.

z: For the last year or so, I've primarily been fishing in what I call "the swamp pond". Some of those are from there and it's usually easy to recognize that pond with its stump/bushes scattered all through it. The other Bass are from several different locations: a state DNR pond, a small Tallahassee lake, and Bienville Plantation-White Springs, Florida.

JR: I'm still searchin' for my BIG one. I'm still double-digit bassless. And yes, good euipment certainly helps but holdin'g my tongue correctly works too :D

I wish each of you could 'ride' with me through that swamp pond. It is truly a Bass Heaven......except when the hornets attack ya  !

I'm still searching for a little honey hole like that. It's tough moving to a new state and not knowing anything about the fishing. I imagine I'll be traveling a great distance to find a pond like that. This area is all rivers, and they're all brackish.

I do have a tiny private pond I use for shore fishing. It's nice for wettin' the line and hooking a few small ones, but nothing like your stompin grounds. Too bad I'm not in South Carolina Dan, it would be a much shorter trip.

I'm always in search of a double digit bass as well, but the way things are going this season, a 5 pounder jumping on the end of my line my be enough for me to faint. My biggest this year is just over 3.
