Schooled by Denny Brauer
Just thought I might pass this along.
My first time watching that show. Man, I have to say its an education show.
For those of you who haven't tuned in to ESPN2 to watch it. I highly recommend it. Basically here's what the shows about.
5 amatuer angulars are graded in 5 different categories. Afterwards Denny Brauer goes out to fish in the same area(differen't location he always seems to find spots that the amateurs never even thought about)
anyhow he sums up the score for the angular in 5 different categories. For each amateur he goes really into depth, what they did really well and their weakness, their mistakes i.e setting the hook, skipping good areas, fishing in a bad areas, bringing fish in, lure manipulation, etc. Then he goes on to point out how to do it the right way.
I had no idea I was doing a few things wrong setting the hook, that Denny pointed out.
The best thing you can get out of this show is being able to locate fish! There's always new things to learn.

Re: Schooled by Denny Brauer
This really ties in with that other post about out fishing a pro.
and like i said the pros will fish places that almost every Am will skip and not even consider it a fishing spot.
I have never seen the show, wish i had ESPN!!! sounds like a great show

Re: Schooled by Denny Brauer
I have seen this show, I gave caught about 3 episodes. This show is great it is bar far the most educational bass fishing show on t.v..
Re: Schooled by Denny Brauer
Show is new to me, but I caught 1 of them.
They do provide good tips, but it's just 1 guy. I think
it'll be better if there are two guys so they can
speak their own thoughts instead of just one opinion.
But overall, good show.

Sure do. Sunday June 6th at 7:30 am and you can catch another episode a few hours later (could be a rerun, I'm not sure) at 10:30 am.

Re: Schooled by Denny Brauer
Hey Jinz, thanks for the tip... sounds like my kind of show! Is it still on? I'm going to do a search with my Tivo... love that thing!!!
I've grown pretty tired of the shows that just have the guy catchin stuff and not telling you anything about what he's doing or why... a lot of good that does me - not!

Re: Schooled by Denny Brauer
just looked through Tivo for the Denny Brauer show. Doesn't look like it's on for at least the next two weeks. Didn't see the "Adrenaline Fishing" show listed either... oh well.
