The answer is yes. The Exprides are fantastic rods. The 6’11 medium is my favorite. Perfect jerk bait. Good for top water and many other things. 7 M spinning is also a great rod.

I have had a lot of success with a 1/4 ounce free rigged D-Shad. I have also caught them on a Senko and 8.5 in Power Worm. I trying it out instead of T Rig or Carolina rig. So far, so good. Anyone else do this? I have been using a 3/8 weight.

The reel seat is one of the biggest improvements. It is very comfortable. It isn’t as quite as comfortable an the Adrena reel seat because there is more exposed blank, but much better than the old NRX reel seat.
