hmm, at the price point, titanium framed torzites would be appropriate. i'll wait for some future user reviews, im hoping this will be my first gloomis rod.

no i have not, they are waiting for me at home and wont be able to fish them for another few weeks. i'm sure they wont disappoint (based on the tech daiwa engineers stuffed in it). very curious how it compares to the ulitmas/glorious, jdm steez comp-x, usdm ags, mb's and evergreens.

i agree rod sensitivity is subjective. one "lesson learned" i've experienced was how important a reel contributes to overall sensitivity (cumulus, ch50e vs ald50). on occasion, i've been tempted to try using the strain gauge equipment in our engineering lab if it wasn't so destructive, just out of c...
