Re: what feather's for ledge jigs?

i use the flair hawks for largemouth they are normally used for snook. They work very well and are really durable.

Re: Whats your favorite All Purpose rod

power tackle paragon 7'6" pg104-76. such a great all around rod. good for almost everything especially down here in Florida where the bass are on the bigger side has plenty of power and longer casts.

Re: New Zillion Rod Models Com'in-POST I-Cast

That is an incorrect statement E73bass. I bought the rod just because of the action. this is from the daiwa website 1st gen regular action with 13 guides
TDZL801MHRB MH R 8' 1 15-30 5" to 8" Swimbait 13.

Re: New Zillion Rod Models Com'in-POST I-Cast

the first gen 8' m/h is a regular bend. I am very happy with it. I would think you will need two rods as those are different techniques. If you were to just buy one rod I would get the 8' heavy swimbait rod and test it out with both xl cranks and swimbaits.

Re: New Zillion Rod Models Com'in-POST I-Cast

I have the zillion 1st gen 8' med/heavy swimbait rod. I love is for deep crankbaits (6xd), big spinnerbaits 1/2-1oz and over, large rattle traps, treble hook swimbaits and large topwater lures up to 2oz. The regular bend is awesome. I would say the rod feels like a hevay action crankbait rod.

Re: Shimano Zodias

How much power or stiffness does the mh spinning rod have? The line ratings seem kinda on the low end for a mh rod. thanks

Re: Lews BB2 Inshore Reels

I have a curado 200 and 300e. The casting is really great I like the external adjustment on the lews. It is pretty smooth about as smooth as you could expect from a reel in the price class. The curados have held up fine and the lews seems to be as well.

Re: Lews BB2 Inshore Reels

I have the bb2 inshore. I have fished it pretty hard so far. I have had it since December and used it with 20lb fluorocarbon and swimbaits for a the first month. It worked well for this application. I have it loaded up with 65lb braid now and have used it inshore for snook and like it a lot. I would...

Re: New 2015 Shimano Zodias Rods

Hey Bantam1 I am looking at the med, heavy spinning rod but the specs seem to be on the lighter side. i was wondering if you have used this rod and if so would it handle 5" senkos with some power to spare? thanks
