Another sweet set up, Cristo. Congrats.
I was always curious about the Secret Service muliti-pieace rods and their performance.

Re: **Giving the IS 63 RI some love**
Super nice reel/setup =D> Do you have the original Zaion knobs? If so, and want to sell them, give me a holla :) Did they ever make that color in RH? I have IS63 and IS71 in racing illusion blue and I believe (99.9% sure) only those two (both lefties) are ever made in that color - in the IS series.

Re: Matching a rod to my Conquest50
I'm paring a CQ51 on my new Ultima 174MH-G (swimbait/cranking rod). I think, it would be a perfect match.

Re: Megabass Gatta-X versus Jackall Pompadour
Ive used them all: gatta x/parahatch, Siglett , Pompadour - they all equally bring bass to the surface for a swipe, in my experience. When bass are frantically hitting top water, I prefer the jackell over the MB Gatta just because I find the hookup is more successful having two hooks vs 1 on the Gat...

Re: Any Carp guys here?
Im not a carp guy, and never had been, but I love the fight when my crankbait snags a 15-25lber by the tail :o Ive caught carp on finesse jigs and chatterbaits, yes by the mouth, LOl. Theyre a fun fish to catch, but like you said, Im not too fond of rolling icky homemade dough-balls and waiting hour...

Re: Well a first prohibited item( Lille, oil) from Japan
Buyee is synonymous for this. They will sometimes say they cant ship the reel...yada yada. That's when you email them back and tell them you've paid for it via paypal and if it doesn't arrive by a certain time you will file a request for your entire money back  See how fast they ship it, minus...

Re: Backlash!!!
Might as well bring extra rods attached with those reels, too :D. Aint nobody got time swapping reels, picking/cutting, re-spooling line when bass are busting shad all around you. :D =D> =D> =D> =D>  I assume, there's a lot of land-base anglers in here that don't have the luxury to carry...

Re: Backlash!!!
I bring an extra reel spool ready to go with shooter or braid (whatever im using that day) per reel. Its a quick swap out when my reel gets bird-nested; rarely does it happen, but it does on windy days. That's too much trouble. I just bring a few extra reels ;)  Lol. Youre a step ahead =...

Re: Broken Rods who breaks more UPS or USPS
No logistics company is damage free when it comes to fishing rods. But I have found that poor packing and UPS (in my experience) has broken more of my rods. Ive had more broken rods in PVC vs cardboard. Its more important how its packaged in the inside rather than the toughness of the container (slo...
