I think the line you're using makes more of a difference in conjunction with the rod. If you're using braid or a high quality fluoro with a St Croix Premier, it's going to feel every bit as good as a $300 rod using cheap mono. You can have it redelivered the next day if you call the PO. But someone will have to be there to sign for the package. If not you will have to go to the PO with notice in hand and pick your package up.
