Been looking at MC for about 2 years, and just haven't pull the trigger on one. Looks like the Volkey 692xul may fit my needs,
big bream. Enjoyed the post.

Re: A G.Loomis Rod Under 200 dollars? Meet the E6X Series
These rod are the best looking rods Gloomis is offering right now. Love the full cork grips, the lime green highlights wouldn't be my choice, but are that bad. Some full cork grips on the NRX like on the 916C would rock.

Re: What is your ideal balance point on a rod?
Center of reel, but a inch in front of reel works OK. Sometimes it's a trade-off between a lighter rod or balanced rod, especially with the longer rods. I continue to resist adding balancers.

Re: Favorite Lipless for fishing grass?
I been using Rat-L-Traps since the 70's and have bought many others to try. I was most disappointed with the red eye shad, just couldn't catch on it. What I've learned is that is you fish one bait 99% of the time, you ain't going to catch fish in that 1% that's left.

It does, but I want a Lin. This thread doesn't help my finances.Good351 wrote:Very nice!! I love my WP as well. I think the Z200HL is about the perfect reel for the WP, but that black jungle looks like it might be the ticket as well!

Re: Anyone disappointed by the balance of MB rods ?
I find that most of my MB balance at or just above the foregrip, my NRX's are the same way. Used to bother me, but out on the water have all fish well. So I just decided that the fact they don't balance at the reel, doesn't matter near as much if they perform.

Thinking about adding 873C CRR and wish Gloomis would make 844C MBR and 904S JWR.

Re: Destroyer Orochi X4 Destruction?
I tried every thing from a Steez to Zillon on mine and ended up with a Fuego on mine. About 7 1/2 oz. works best for me.
