I could offer a kit less adhesive? But I need to do some investigating on components to complete the kit and figure out a price.

Give me a couple a days and I'll send you a PM.

Thanks

Re: Which 103 to choose ?

I'd vote Steez as it has a wider choice of gearing and Its a steez(which I can't afford!). Next would be the SV103 series. I want to like the SV SS 105, But it's limited gear choice turns me away. My SV103XS has done very well with light stuff, yet still handles a 3/4 oz. bait rather well. Still in ...

Re: Daiwa SV103XS Spool tension clicker

Does anyone know if this would this also retrofit to a Pixy or Alphas? Great work!!!! it would not. the knob for the td-z/steez/ect, is too big in diameter to fit on the pixy or alphas sideplate That is truly disappointing. @jjbassnforfun: I think that should be your next project, lol! If you can f...

My bad, I assumed he had a new Fuego. Seeing the older is similar to the TD-Z it is a go. 8-)

Re: Daiwa SV103XS Spool tension clicker

Work on a fuego? If so...put me down for 2 of em. I don't own a Fuego or a Tatula. But after looking at them a little further, It Doesn't look like this will work on the Fuego or Tatula. They will require a flange to allow bonding/mounting. Hedgehog Studio's makes a kit for the Tatula. It might wor...

Re: Daiwa SV103XS Spool tension clicker

That is truly disappointing. @jjbassnforfun: I think that should be your next project, lol! If you can figure out how to get a clicking CCC on a Pixy/Aplphas, you'll probably be able to quit your day job   I don't own them, But if there is a will there is a way. It might be possible to sl...

Re: Daiwa Tatula vs. Zillion 103sv

Used mine today for the first time. Handle a 3/16 hair jig up to a 3/4 oz. buck tail. Very very impressed with this. Spent most of the day throwin a 5" weightless sinko with only 2 minor BL and I ran it really loose......... Let my son cast it a few and he was pleased with it. Looks like I gotta get...

Re: Daiwa SV103XS Spool tension clicker

Thanks e_bassfisher.

Spent the day on the water and over used it. I adjusted the drop on about every cast for the first 50 and then every time I changed a bait. No issues. Seems to work flawless.

Re: Daiwa SV103XS Spool tension clicker

Let me sleep on it and at least test the crap out of the proto-type before I commit anything. Don't want to have something go wrong. I need to beat on this to be sure it lasts. 6061 should take it well, But rather error on safety.
