Re: Return of the Fenwick Golden Wing?
Have a 6'6" MH Golden Wing sitting in the rod closet in like new condition. Back in the day I had a Tournament Team Daiwa on it. My first high end set up. The reel went but could not get rid of the Fenwick. Will be interesting to see...

Re: PX68 Finesse Special Spool worth it?
I found it a bit wild in the Pixy but in a Sol with spacers it's the bomb

I have not experienced this issue with my SV spools but will watch for it. I'll definitely do this mod if needed.

The key for me is seeing the slow down. The spool should not hit a point that it goes from turning to a stop. It should cont...

Re: Megabass MH Texas Rig Rod
I have the Nautilus and the NRX 893. I have to say the NRX is my favorite bottom contact so far. I’ve used other Loomis as well as Dobbins, St. Croix, etc… In the ever search for best bottom contact I just purchased the X7 Bearingdown, Destroyer F5ST-611 and the C40 Elseil Destroyer Evoluzion F41/2-...

Re: AIRD 100H - Sol Variant?
The JDM Aird reels are Alpha based but if I am not mistaken they do not have the Magforce type braking but a very basic centrifugal brake. They are made for SW jigging with PE line. Can anyone confirm? Would be a nice reel if it had regular baitcast breaking. Of course there's always the new SV alp...

AIRD 100H - Sol Variant?
Anyone have experience with this reel? Looks like a variant of the Sol or alphas platform with a shallow spool.

Re: Need help with a Crankbait reel.
TD-Z 100M is a good choice. I very happy with the Chronarch D5 for deep diving cranks. Daiwa Sol for shallow to Med. is what I use.
