I like it, I’m a sucker for cork knobs.
Did you seal the cork?

Re: Talk me off the ledge please
I’ve got 2 of the Tsurinoya reels. I have one paired up with a cheap Crappie Max rod from Bass Pro. It’s a great little combo for chasing our small bass. The casting performance is just shy of an Alphas R Edition I have on a JDM Daiwa UL rod.

Re: Reel covers?
I have several of the TW covers, and like them. I also have a couple of Academy Sports covered, they are slightly smaller and work great on Pixy’s, Alphas, etc.

Re: recommend a budget bfs ajing rod
I have a Kuying Teton 6’6” lighht action. I like it pretty well, can’t say how it will hold up. The first one I got, the tip section broke before even got line on it. But I saw good reviews, here and elsewhere, and decided to try another one. The action on these is more like an ultralight in the US....

Re: How many rods?
Two or three, and I do the same when I’m in my little stick steer Tracker. I just decide what I’m going to throw and pick out the right rods for the job.

Re: Best inshore low profile baitcasters?
The Zillion Coastal, But they are getting very hard to find. I also like the blue Tatula Coastal, but they require a handle swap, I can’t stand those giant foam knobs.

Re: MB Dark Sleeper
I ordered a pretty good assortment of the dark sleepers. I thought I had something new, one of my kayak fishing buddy’s says, oh those, tried them last year, they’re ok.
I haven’t caught anything with them yet, but I haven’t fished a whole lot either.

Re: Falcon Cara Head Turner Casting Rod
It’s the Wal Mart effect. I never knew WM sold Falcon rods until I saw a Bucco in clearance bin.
Wal Mart places an order with a company with a trusted brand name, then slowly squeezes the profits out until they are forced to go Chinese or go out of business

Re: Favorite small spinnerbait
I’ve got some little 3/16 Stanley spinnerbaits. But I can’t remember where I got them. They are the same size as the small 1/8 Strike Kings but are just a bit heavier, and more Castable.

It’s a baitcasting rod. Marked JOY TOGETHER and C702. Damiki BFS rod?
I thought I’d share a super nice little rod that TW has on clearance for $50. The Damiki angel EX. It’s a two piece rod list as medium power. EVA grips and a nice blue finish. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Damiki_Angel_EX_Casting_Rods_2-Piece/descpage-DAMCA.html I bought one each of the casting an...

Re: Tsurinoya XF-50 Budget BFS Reel Teardown & Evaluation
The Tsurinoya rod showed up today. It’s a 2 piece, 7foot rod with two tip sections. One is medium, the other medium light. It appears to be very well made. I will be a perfect match for my orange Daiwa Sol.

Re: Tsurinoya XF-50 Budget BFS Reel Teardown & Evaluation
I ordered a tip section, and a whole second rod tonight. kuying Teton TTS662L. Now we see how long it takes to get here. From what I can tell, the Tsurinoya Proflex 2 now comes in a "Light" version too. I was planning on ordering a Teton next, either UL or Light, but it is hard to not try another P...

Jackall Grinch Question
Local tackle shop here in Hot Springs, Arkansas has stepped up their game. I went in today and they got me for $100 worth, they had the Jackall Grinch in several colors, pretty good selection of Megabass Dark Sleepers, about all they were out of was the 3.8 inch 3/4 oz version. Also had a few swimba...
