Re: Daiwa Spinning Reel for DX 702SF
It seems you a looking for a smaller and JDM reel, but just for the record, the Sol reels look killer with the DX rods. I don't have spinning combo, but my Sol-L/DX703C combo looks sick. Good luck with your choice! ;) The dx 702 sf will be a future purchase, just getting info on possible reels to p...

Re: New worm/jig rod
I would also pick the powell between the 3 choices. Another good choice in that price range would be the Falcon LowRider XG Cast 7' Heavy. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Falcon_L ... -FLRC.html

Re: snakes
Nice T-shirt, we know where you shop at. Rattlesnake in the bass boat, that could definitely ruin your fishing day.

Re: Daiwa Spinning Reel for DX 702SF
Thanks for the suggestions and the info on the presso. I pretty much figured out after posting this question that the daiwa presso is best suited for an ultra light rod.

tdz vs fuego
Other than the gigas spool, v vs z brakes, what other differences are there between the tdz and the fuego?

Re: NEW Daiwa T3 info !!!
The T3 looks interesting, but I think I'm going to wait for reviews from other TT members before I decide whether to get one or not.

Daiwa Presso Spinning
If you have a Daiwa Presso Spinning Reel, what do you think of it and what do you use it for? And any input on the differences between the 3 versions of it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Daiwa Spinning Reel for DX 702SF
Also, I was wondering why the presso 1003 sold/sells for $450/$500 approximately and the new presso Imprimi 1503 sells for about $250?

Daiwa Spinning Reel for DX 702SF
Would the Daiwa Presso Spinning Reel be a good match for the DX 702SF or would it match up better with the DX 701 SF?

Re: Dobyns 70x vs 73x
I too like 7' rods that will fit in a rod locker or in my case the rod rack in the 7ft campershell/bed of my truck. I have a dobyns 734 because I really like it, all my other rods for now are 7ft or under. I usually just keep my rods in my garage strapped to the deck of my boat, which my 734 will fi...

I like the 734 for 3/4 oz spinnerbaits. The 734 also makes an awesome paddletail rod.

Re: Swimbaits/Hook Recommendation
I like the Davis Bait Swim X Screw Lock Swimbait Hook. The Reaction Innovations Skinny Dipper holds up pretty well, especially with a swimbait hook with a screw lock. The back of the bait also has a groove to keep the hook point. They have 3 sizes little dipper -> 3.5", skinny dipper -> 5", and the ...
