When your lures cost more than your friends fishing pole.

Re: striper on da punker!
Nice topwater fish.
A wiper definitely fights harder than a striper, IMO. A striper is just heavier.

Re: Busted Vision 110
^ I was watching your vid at work and couldnt stop laughing at your reaction. But yeah, sorry about the unfortunate events with the lure. I fish very rocky shorelines but have yet to break a lip but I dont do jerk motions, I tend to barely twitch the bait. Hope Megabass helps you out with replacemen...

Re: Vision 110/What reel/rod/line?
I am using .011 fluorocarbon. I have tried the jerk/pause/jerk/jerk jerk/jerk/pause, varied my pauses as well as amount of "jerk" etc. and can't get bit. These are awesome looking baits in the water, but I can't get bit on them. Do you have to modify them out of package? Just lightly twitch the bai...

Re: School me on the Megabass 110 please
Yup, probably one of the easiest jerkbaits to work in the water. Even little twitches create enough flash for reaction strikes.

Re: Ichiban Tackle and Megabass Griffon SR-X/Griffon 6cc
Ichiban is one of the best in shipping. I can usually expect my order within a week. What you mentioned was my gripe too since alot of the good colors are always out, but if you go on the site on the right day you can get lucky.

Re: Megabass collection
TLC is probably one of the best colors on a megabass lure IMO.

Re: favourite plastic shad (or swimbait)
I have a few go-to main plastics. Charlie Brewer Sliders, Swimming minnows, Keitech swing impacts and the Zoom Flukes. Keitech fat impacts for spinnerbait or swimjig trailers are killer.

Re: fluke baits
I keep hearing people talk about the Yamamoto D Shad so I bought some. Hopefully they work just as well or better than the Zooms.

Re: Color presentation
I always put on something with white or chartreuse right off the bat. If nothing hits, I downgrade the size and usually its game on.
