I like both older versions of the symetre and the CI4.

I have the new 843GLX and an old 803 GLX. Granted that they are not the same rod for comparison, I still like the old one better. If I can get the old one for 35% off I would not hesitate to get it rather than the new one.

Personally I would sell it as parts and then use the proceed to get another steez.

How is this method handle in windy situation?

I usually fish with 1/8 and 3/16.

what is the expectation if you put a hook keeper on the rod if you don't expect it to be scratched? Or is it just for your eyes only? Also if it is scratched and weakened the rod, shouldn't you (the manufacturer) find some place else to put it? Or come up with a better way to protect the portion of ...
