Re: Need a frog rod and a jig rod
Go with the 765 and 735. Those two rods can be used for a ton of different techniques in addition to what you are looking for out of them.

Re: Skeet Reese Rods why all the hate.
I agree with all of the reasons that have already been stated, but the biggest deal breaker for me is the way Skeet talks about and markets his rods. He talks about his series of rods being the biggest technological break through since sliced bread, and he says that his rods compete with rods in the...

Re: Which compromise?
This depends on what kind of fishing we're talking about. If you're in a float tube or wading then I would take the 1 piece rod. If you're fishing off the bank then I would take the 2 piece rod.

Re: Oh you Senko/stickbait users.. LOL
This is a funny topic. There's a river about 15-20 minute drive from my house that I'll go down to once in a while to fish when I really have that itch. The only thing that consistently catches fish for me out at this river is a Senko and a Texas rigged Roboworm with a 1/4 oz. Tungsten bullet weight...

Re: Dirty Jigs California Swim Jig
I have A LOT of Dirty Jigs in my box. They are made very well and the color combination are great, but they are dang expensive for a jig... I guess one thing to consider is that you don't have to worry about losing too many of these CA Swim Jigs. You can just pick up a few of them and try them out w...

Is there a particular model that works best? I noticed looking at the TW website that there are several different models available.

These are the only 2 colors that I fish, and the Chart. Shad weighed in a nice 6 pounder in a tournament for me

That's exactly why I asked for one, and now that I have it...I haven't had a chance to fish it yet Hopefully I'll get a chance soon to go fishing and test out my theory

I fish with Chronarch D reels exclusively now. My 50th Zillions sit in the closet somewhere...or perhaps they're in a Tupperware box on my shelf somewhere...
