Re: New Evergreen rods
My Grand Cobra RS finally came in :). Extremely light @ 142grams for a 4oz lure rating being 6' 11". I'm deciding whether to throw my monoblock bespoke RC or the Ito gambler on this little beast. https://i.imgur.com/ehVKKQM.jpg https://i.imgur.com/e0EIG9V.jpg https://i.imgur.com/oezbV9k.jpg https://...

Re: **ASL 7'11" Force #7**
Great acquisition, Cristo =D> Im enjoying the ones I got off TT/GWood a coupe months ago, too :) i would also like to thank TT/GW for their stellar service and the fast turn around from Megabass on the Leggera's 8-) Good luck, Cristo, and post some pics of those hogs you catch on rod from Canyon or ...

Re: Drop shot hooks +1
Hard to deviate from gamakatsu's as far as hooks in general, but Im getting equally fond of Trokars.
As for dropshot hooks, I go pretty big even with finesses worms: size 4/5

Re: Whatever happened to firetiger?
IDk, if I wanted a firetiger color in a crankbait, I can usually find it.
What popular lure mfg doesn't offer (or stopped) making a firetiger color in their crankbait line/s?

Re: Best Japanese sites with fast shipping?
I have found JLS to be the fastest as far as rods. jpangler comes pretty fast, too, if Kazu isn't too busy. T.ogawa/Plat has never been known to ship anything fast throughout the years dealing from them. When you're ordering anything that's sent EMS/USPS (i.e. reels or lures) It doesn't matter they ...

Re: Shattered my P3 Bearing Down
yeah, Im looking for a MB rod to put the Lauda back on. Might go with a new model..the FMJ sounds promising \ Might want to see if GW/Tackle Trap can get one for you. I bought a few Super Leggera's from him months ago and he has stellar service. And Im sure he got's you covered if something were to...

Re: Shattered my P3 Bearing Down
I am open to suggestions, the bearing down was a great light jig rod but I felt the tip was just slightly stiff . I might look into getting the stinger tip version. Personally, I like ex fast tips when jig and worming, except for drop shot's - which I like a slightly softer tip. I really enjoy my B...

Re: Shattered my P3 Bearing Down
:crying: Sorry for the unfortunate mishap. Every time i work on my reels it comes off the rod. Just say'n. Dont feel too bad. I was vacuuming near my rod stand a few years ago and braid got caught on the 12amp roller. That extra braid laying on the floor was connected to one of my new MB c40's. The...

Re: New Evergreen rods
I know there are a few threads that mention the cobra and maybe the Stallion DG rods from the regular Inspirae line from a few years back. I think I recall them being thought of as very purpose specific for hard baits rather than generalist as many JDM rods are when it comes to taper. If you search...
