Re: Flap Slap Review
Is there any possibility that more reviews can combine a second opinion on the bait? Let the original reviewer post the facts, as well as their opinion, but just another take? I know it won't work with all products reviewed, and the opinions might even be the same, but I like all sides of the story...

We'll see, though. I read somewhere that MB products will be in Bass Pro Shops.

Flap Slap Review
Maybe this is the first time I've seen this in a review from you guys, but I really liked the 'third party' part of the review, offering another perspective on the item being reviewed. If I understand it correctly, most reviews are done on baits that the staff purchases out of their own pockets, the...

Re: Seeker blanks
Thanks for the info! Wanting to toss smaller, 3/8 or less cranks, I ended up going with a Loomis blank, but still would like to try one of these for a larger crank rod, as i'm prett unhappy with my Falcon, but that's another day :) Not a huge deal on the reelseat, but if a Fuji works, that'll work f...

Seeker blanks
So, lots of folks praise the 706 for a big crank/spinnerbait blank, speaking of this one at the top of the page, I think. If that's true, would the 705 be a better blank for small to mid size cranks? I don't really know anything about what i'm looking at, and all that's there is weight/line ratings....

Ouch! Yeah, that would pretty much suck! I hear the average depth is only 6ft, you take a few off that doesn't leave much.
Was gonna call a few, but they'll not give you an honest answer

Planning a trip down there in November, hopefully. Got a buddy of mine that's been once, and the place he stayed is no longer around. He speaks of some place called Monkey something, box maybe? From his experiences, which are pretty limited, we figure we'd like to find a spot to stay in a channel, i...

Re: The SCARFACE is here
Yeah man, cause this thread is pretty damn useless without pics :) As far as the lighter weight, that's a plus for sure, especially on a rod such as a cranking stick, what length did you get? Is it glass, composite, graphite, etc? Moderate action? Single piece? Are you gonna make me come fish the hon...

Re: Planning&Configuring Jon Boat Make Over
You can get Jon Boats with consoles, which in itself pisses your budget away. If you're planning on adding an outboard, and keeping it forever, you'll want to get a welded boat. Riveted boats are fine for trolling use, no slapping the water, but there goes your budget again :) http://www.akmccallumc...

I didn't care for the reel or the girl! It was a nice read, though. Almost seemed like the text was trying to justify the reel at times

I do have to agree with the phone conversation/thumbbar thing, at least I'm not alone on that one!
I bought mine used, and it very may well have had something upgraded on it, I don't remember. I'd buy another in a heartbeat, though, especially at the price I got mine for!

Re: Comments on New Daiwa Megaforce MF-100TSH baitcasting re
I wouldn't take it as not much difference, I'm not familiar with the Viento, although I have a Smak, but it seems to be the bastard child, not many folks talk about it, but mine is an exceptional reel, very smooth, and I fish weightless soft plastics with it, with ease. I'd say the best thing about ...
