I've built several rods with Daiwa AGS guides. They are ok, but Fuji Torzite is better. Also much more easier to wrap, cause AGS foot is BIG.
IMO, I wouldn't build NRX blank with heavy monocoque grip. CFX carbon grips are 2-3x lighter and then more sensitive.

Check also AT Bushido CB68/6-12. It's very light and 200 grams power. One of my favourite for light fishing with baitcaster. Moderate fast action is super nice to cast and keeps fish nicely.

If quality and tolerances would be same as Japan made, it doesnt mind. But im afraid its not! Better to get some CT Steez's more!

Daiwa Steez CT. Capable to cast 2g to 50g lures with og spool. Just change rod (and line).
