Re: How do you like your high $$$ round reel?
I had a Ryoga's in both sizes..2020 and 1016. Both were fantastic reels! The did have an edge that liked to wear into my hand after a while.. Currently I have two CV-Z Millionaire variants in my rotation.. M-Ito and Ize Light. Love these for cranks and spinner baits! https://www.tacomaworld.com/medi...

Re: Need help on RC002 spools
Ya, I think yours are like mine..the limited edition charcoal gray color.
The winners black was like you said, more dark green. No idea if they made it in a 002.. I assumed they did.

Re: Need help on RC002 spools
Yours both look the same to me..? I always felt the winners black had a tinge of green in it..and that is why I never picked one up. Here is a pic of my limited edition.. which I think is gray? https://www.tacomaworld.com/media/img_20200413_170634.657988/full Lets see a pic of all the colors!! I thi...

Re: Best action for a jig rod
That is what I am using now 7'HF it's a St. Croix Slop & Frog bought it used over the summer it has a nice tip, but I think a MH for me would be better . I want to stick with with a 7' length, max 7' 2". I was looking a a Legend Elite , but no such animal in that length with a moderate fast action,...

Re: Spool Spacers
Good luck finding the 36 to 34mm spacers for your zillion.. They were produced for a very short time and not many people will part with theirs. The 33 to 30mm will not exist, and wouldn't work too well since the 30mm spool is also narrower than the standard sized spool. You would also need to swap o...

Re: Tatula sv vs TD-Z 103hl
I ended up buying one of the funky framed left hand tdz's. It looks perfect in the pictures and has had the drag upgraded and the handle was switched out for a 90mm zillion handle and zillion type r drag star so I'll try it like that and maybe keep an eye out for it and that type r+. I think I saw ...

Re: Why don't people like Hot Sauce?
I used it on a couple bait casters.. While I didn't have any bad results, I didn't care for the red stained parts later on.
Just like hoohoorjoo, I use Abu Silicote for all moving parts and Cal's drag grease for drag washers and gears.

Re: Rods/reels you regret not buying
I joined well after the custom shop TDZ's were out.. but I always wanted one in Pink, Champagne Gold, White and Yellow. Always wanted a minty Zillion HLC..I look once in a while on those auction sites..might pull the trigger one day..not that I need more reels... Two rods come to mind that I wish I ...
