Re: The NEW Tatula HD

Re: More options have arrived.

I believe that would be the reason. You would get better results with a rcs sv 1000 spool as the sv 1000 deep and shallow spools are made for the 1016 reels Ryoga and T3. I tried the SS spool in my Ryoga and it was not as good as the sv105 Orange spool. I haven't tried it in the Ryoga since swappin...

Re: More options have arrived.

The ss sv spool has a longer/deeper inductor but I also noticed the magnets in the ss side plate are the smallest I have seen in any of the daiwa reels so it seems the ss sv spool is tuned just for the ss reels. Also, once you experience different rod warranties, that alone might sway your opinion to stick with a company. I've recently had a very, very difficult time dealing with a rep. from a highly regard...

Re: Daiwa SS SV

I own a few SS SV's, contrary to previous comments, I like the drag as is. This wasn't my initial thought, but after using them on the water, I have come accustomed to the stock drag and think it has it's benefits. I have one sitting on the Flat Side Special for top waters and the other on the Jerkb...
