Re: JDM Levante
Interested to hear about the shortcomings as well. Especially since I mentioned this exact model in a previous post.

Re: Levante Multi Piece rods
Thanks for the heads up! That 66 model is perfect for what I have in mind.Polkfish1 wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2019 6:18 pmThere’s also this entire series of travel rods coming from MB fairly soon. Little more expensive than levante; but not outrageous: https://jp.megabassstore.jp/fs/megabass/c/rod-triza-all

Levante Multi Piece rods
Does anybody have any info or possibly hands on experience with any of the new multi piece rods from the Levante series? Have my eye on the F3-67LV. Thinking about a travel rod to keep in the car so I can make a few casts on my lunch break.

Stand up guy as usual. Great communication during the transaction and fast shipping. Just ordered two PopX's from him and the packaging was better than what you'd get from some retailers.

Re: Attn: Megabass Lure Guys
The Hookup is pretty legit. They have their own Megabass shop within the store. Mikesrx is also a good choice, somewhat hit or miss on inventory, but tends to have some of the JP offerings that most others don't have. Both have prompt shipping.

Re: Gan Craft Jointed Claw - is it worth it / colors
Gotta agree with Cal. I’m not swimbait enthusiast by any means, but both are entirely different. Splurge a little bit and go with Gan Craft. The attention to detail is top notch as is expected with most JDM lures. Also, it looks as though they will be releasing a smaller mode soon. The 128 if I’m no...

Is it weighted near the line tie to allow the defensive posture in the water?

Re: Lake Powell FLORIDA
Thanks for the all the info! I was a little on the fence about using my Alphas SV because from what I understand there is some saltwater in the lake and didn't want to risk ruining the reel. Looks I need to grab a few green Xraps and give it a shot. I think I'll have the chance to fish from a kayak ...

Lake Powell FLORIDA
Looks like I'm heading to Rosemary Beach, FL in July and was wondering if anybody had any tips on Lake Powell. I'm not familiar with dune lakes and see that it has a mixture of fresh and saltwater fish. What techniques, lure types do you recommend and how about rod/ reel? Would an Alphas SV be okay ...

Re: My new favorite jdm YouTube channel
Pretty cool videos! Great to see the lures action in an up close and clear picture for once. It would be pretty cool if he could add a pump to create a current in the tank in order to see how lures such as the Easy Shaker would react.
Re: SV105P
I stand corrected. After taking a closer look in daylight the line guide on the 105P does have a very slight champagne tint, but that is the only piece. Everything else is silver. It doesn't bother me too much, but if somebody happens to have a silver line guide laying around I may be interested in ...
Re: SV105P
I picked up a second one last night and looks like this morning they are sold out. I may get two sets of gears for the higher speed ratio just to have in case I ever want to convert them, but after thinking about it, the 23.5" IPT (while not fast) is still the same as the old Sol, very similar to i...

MajorCraft Benkai packing rods
Does anybody have any hands on experience with any of these rods? Not looking for info on one model in particular, just general info. With my work I tend to find myself near small ponds on a regular basis and am considering getting a travel rod for the truck for those times I have a few minutes to k...
