Re: steve kennedy
I am pretty sure he was using a basstrix in the last tournament they aired on ESPN. I distinctly remember him saying the brand and all I remember was it had the word bass in it. It looked like a paddle tail tube or something.

Does anybody know what swimbait he is using? He has been using it basically all summer and catching fish with it.
Re: mbr 844
Yeah, I've read those threads and basically, everyone just talks about how it's a great jigging rod.
mbr 844
I tried one out for the first time today throwing at football jig with a revo sx. I could definitely tell when I was hitting sand/silt and rock. I am not completely won over by this rod yet. Where does this rod really stand out (bite detection,t rigs, c rigs)?

Re: barry bonds may be cheating...
I am a Griffey Jr. fan but I have to say, the two consecutive years he got hurt really cost him. I really don't know if he could break the record at age 38. He is sitting at 590 right now. I don't think he can do it as an everyday player where there will be the potential of getting hurt. I think it ...

Re: barry bonds may be cheating...
There is no doubt A-Rod is a stud. The youngest player to hit 500 homers. He will most likely surpass bonds' record if he stays healthy. I was really surprised by the number of players that Canseco claims that have taken steroids (want to say the number is in the thousands but I'm not exactly positi...

Re: Boston is my NEW favorite NBA team...
My prediction for the top three teams in the east:
1) Boston
2) Chicago
3) Miami
The eastern conference just doesn't hold my attention as much as the western conference does. It seems to always go down to the very end to see who will be on top in the west (usually it ends up being the spurs).

Yes, then we will most likely hear about the possibility of A-Rod taking steriods at one point in his life. Bonds might be a famer but his homerun record will look like this 756*bassbandit wrote:Hopefully in the ten years we will be ale to stop talking about Bonds when Alex Rodriguez sets the new homerun record.

Costa Del Mar Man-o'-war
Was wondering if anybody had a pair of these? I tried a pair on at BPS a while back and they seemed great. I was wondering if they did well out on the water during bright light conditions. I am an oakley guy myself and would like to remain loyal to the brand. But, if these are great glasses for fish...

Re: Revo Premier, Shimano Core, and Daiwa HSTA at Cabelas'a.
Yeah...I messed around with them when we got them in. I really love how smooth they are. They really put the old versions to shame. I am just kicking myself because I bought the old ones. I am hoping some shimano cumaras come in. I would like to get my hands on one of those.

Looks like Hamburg is lucky. LaVista doesn't have the core or the premier yet. We only have the Daiwa HSTA and the Tierra.

Re: Gary Yamamoto Senko or Yum Dinger
personally, I don't think the plastic of the senkos are very durable for the price. I catch about two or three fish and then I have to change my worm. I like the tiki wave worm as an alternative though. I have had luck with the dingers too.

Re: Strike King Sexy Shad, Series 5 & 6
I went to BPS today looking for that color. I thought the color was chart/white. I had one in my hand and asked one of the guys if this was the sexy shad color. He said the actual sexy shad that he was using was a Rapala DT. He said the color is just called "shad". That got me really confused becaus...
Revo SC
Anybody tried this one yet? Cabela's had it on sale a little while ago for $99. Wondered if it was as good as the SX.
