Re: Pixy SPR
I have the SPR and it's one of my favorite reels, it's mounted on a MB Eiger Northwall, and it casts light crankbaits very well 6# and 8# line. Since I have a PX Type R I have not used it for pitching or bottom contact. Both cast great and I don't see why you couldn't cast what ever you wanted to wi...

Re: Black Jungle Power Versatile
I have a Power Versatile and like it a lot. Rod is a beast. Use it for frogs, and swimbaits. I have plenty bottom contact rod so I haven't tried jigs or plastics. I have thought about getting a second one. Rod has a good tip with moderate action, and would work for cranks. Great rod for Lake Gunters...

Re: Topwater Action with the Multi-Talented Jackall Binksy
I love topwater and have been using poppers mostly with some walkthedog baits thrown in there. After reading back into the forum I decided to try the Jackall binksy and pompadour, plus the deps buzzjets. Got them in this winter so haven't had a chance to fish them. I have played with them and I am m...

Re: Rod/Reel resell point
Resell is a problem, because every year Reel Manufactures are bring out more and more neat reels. that we all just got to have. So you never are completely satisfied with what you have. Another problem with this is when they discount the reels to almost half what you paid for yours i.e. Daiwa Z220. ...

Re: New lures from Bagleys Baits
Here are a couple of the Honey Bees I purchased a few years ago...they were so bad compared to the originals that I just gave these to my oldest kiddo and the rest to my wife's best friend's son: http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t136/saukam1/Mobile%20Uploads/20150109_190316.jpg Hooks are too big,...

You're on top of it, DaveJ. Excellent choice in that price range.IlliniDawg01 wrote:Maybe add a very good condition TDZ with an RCS1016 Spool to the list.
