Re: Incoming!
Those knobs are really beautiful...pictures can't do them justice. The only problem is after one set, you will want a few more. If I had the dough I would deck out all of my Conquests and TEs.

Re: Daiwa SS Air vs. Px- Type R vs. Core 50mg7 vs. Aldebaran
I was successfully casting an 1/8oz Roadrunner this past weekend for crappie with a PX68L/DX701 combo. I was getting considerable distance as well; much more than I had anticipated. I have never went very light with my Core 51. I use this and a 7'1" MH Cumulus exclusively for 1/4oz Texas rigs. Hope ...

Also sad to see how common cork filler is anymore on nearly all factory rods, regardless of price.
Wow! That filler looks terrible! I can't believe those are the two they went with for the photo.

Never tried a spybait...gonna give them a shot this May after the opener. I invested a bunch of dough on swimbaits this offseason, so I am going to try and become a better swimbait fisherman.

No other color needed.
Ain't it the truth? Though for some reason I continue to spend dough on as many different patterns as possible.
Buying those little Pop Xs is addictive. I am still itching to buy the Pop X Stick.

Yes, but no 90mm handles. Kind of a bummer
Atta boy.
Japantackle has a 90mm in.

Re: Fuego for reaction?
I think it should do a fine job. The Fuego is a great topwater reel...nice and light. As long as you aren't deep cranking it will do well; I simply don't like Mg reels for deep cranks.
A four bearing handle and a drag upgrade will help a ton.

Unbelievable collection...sincerely. I love the champagne gold TD-Z. One of those beauties would look really boss on an original Loomis BCR.

One of these beauties would be so sweet mated with the X7 Simoom. I have the C3000 waiting on the X7 Simoom to arrive. I've been a Stella fan for many years and have fished several generations of them. This reel is incredible. Any of you guys who are interested in the new Stella, let me know, we'll...

Agreed. $640 is a little easier to swallow. One of these beauties would be so sweet mated with the X7 Simoom.
